How it works if you're staying

You request, they accept, and only then you pay.

    Search

    Place, sport and tournament or event — or a training trip —, dates and how many are coming.

  2. 2

    Compare

    As a list and on the map, with the distance to the venue. Sort by distance or price, and filter by spots and gender preference.

  3. 3

    Request the bed

    The request opens the chat with the host, so you can sort things out before committing.

  4. 4

    They accept, you pay

    The host has 24 h to accept. Only then does payment open, and you have 24 h to pay.

  5. 5

    You stay

    Once confirmed, the exact address and each other's details are shared. At the end you both leave a review.

You're never charged before the host accepts. If they don't reply within 24 h, the request expires on its own and you look for another.

Every listing says how many spots it has and whether they're shared, and the price is always per spot, per night. If three of you travel, you filter for three spots and only see what fits.

Extras are optional and each host sets them: they can be free or priced, per night or per stay. You see them with their price before you request the booking.

Wi-Fi, bathroom, parking, whether pets are welcome, whether smoking is allowed: every listing spells it out before you ask.

Traveling with a minor

The adult books, coordinates and answers for it.

At youth tournaments or events it's the kid who travels, but the account, the booking and the coordination belong to the adult. Minors never have their own account.

  1. 1You book and declare the minor in the request.
  2. 2You upload the paperwork: the minor's ID plus a birth certificate or family book if you're the mother or father, or a signed authorization if you're a guardian.
  3. 3The PlayInn team reviews it. The host never sees those documents: their screen just says “Verified family”.
  4. 4The booking can be confirmed while the review is pending, but check-in requires it approved.

How trust gets built

You're asking a stranger for a bed. Here's what's on the other side.

No system removes risk, and we're not going to tell you otherwise. What we do: information beforehand, money held in the middle, and someone to turn to afterwards.

  • Protected payment

    You pay inside the app and the money is held until after check-out. If you open a claim, the release is paused until it's resolved.

  • Both sides choose

    The host accepts or declines every request, and each of you can choose who you host or whose home you stay in: women only, men only, or no preference.

  • Paid to your bank account

    Payments are held safely by the platform and transferred to your CBU or alias after each stay. You just add your bank details once.

  • Double-blind reviews

    Both sides rate each other and reviews publish once both have written, or after 14 days. A host's cancellations stay visible on their profile.

  • The chat and the address, in due time

    You coordinate inside the app. Until the booking is confirmed the chat filters out phone numbers and emails; on confirmation it stops filtering and the exact address is revealed.

  • Report, block, claim

    You can report someone, block them — and undo it whenever you want — and, if the place wasn't what was published, open a claim with photos: the host's payment is frozen until it's resolved.

Sorting it out privately costs you more.

  • The money stays on this side

    It's released to the host after check-out. If something goes wrong, there's still something to resolve it with.

  • If you head home early, you don't lose out

    You flag that you're cutting the stay short and the nights you didn't use come back to you. Nobody has to chase anybody.

  • You earn points

    Every stay adds points, and points become discounts on future bookings.
